1K UV Primer Surfacer
Desprition	1. 1K product, ready for use (no pot life); 2. Fast drying using UV drying equipment; 3. Good spraying properties; 4. Easy sanding; 5. Suitable for recoating with all HKS base coats and topcoats; 6. Dried with a UV lamp.
Substrate	1. Bare steel sanded and cleaned; 2. Galvanized steel sanded and cleaned; 3. Sandthroughs of maximum 3 cm to bare aluminium, sanded and cleaned; 4. Old or original paintwork well sanded and cleaned; 5. Surfaces pretreated with 2K polyester products and then finely sanded and cleaned; 6. OEM Primer (e-coat), sanded and cleaned;
Re-coat	2 light coats. intermediate flash-off not needed.  Final flash-off: 2 min.
Mixing Ratio	Not applicable.
Sandable	P500-P600 grit sand paper.
Shelf Life	1 year in its original can at cool and dry place at 20ºC.

UV drying, 1K UV primer surfacer for ultra-quick minor damage repairs. It is slightly transparent and suitable for very fast repairs of small areas of damage and Speed Repairs. The product is dried with a UV lamp.
Features

 

Dedicated commercial UV lamps fitted with a bulb with at least 400W are recommended.
A sufficient through hardening and adhesion is dependent on:

1. Dry film thickness;

2. Intensity of the light bulb (decreasing over working time);
3. Distance to the object (increasing the lamp distance decreases the UV intensity on the surface) and curing time.

It is slightly transparent in order to achieve good drying. Do not apply to coverage.
Cure time 3 minutes at a distance of 15 cm or 6 minutes at a distance of 25 cm.

Remark

1. Surplus ready for use material should not be returned to original can.
2. Stir very well with the mixing stick before pouring.
3. Spray guns should be equipped with a light-proof gravity cup.
4. The use of suitable personal protection equipment is highly recommended during application, to avoid skin and eye-irritation and long term adverse effects.
5. Handling UV radiation sources requires particular care. Dangers can only be avoided if a licensed UV-A drying equipment is used in the proper way.
